Not-For-Profit

Whether you just imagined a new charitable idea, are ready to incorporate, hope to form a partnership with another organization or have hit a rough patch in the road, Ben Flavin can help you get where you’re going.

Ben Flavin can incorporate your not-for-profit organizations in New York State and can help you formulate the organization’s mission statement and public purpose, draft the certificate of incorporation and file the documents with the appropriate state agencies. He will also work with you as you build the proper governance structure for the not-for-profit organization, as the board creates the proper guidelines for running the not-for-profit organization.  Ben will also conduct your first organizational meeting and work with the board to ensure the newly formed organization gets started on the right foot.

Ben has experience applications with the Internal Revenue Service for tax exempt status under the Internal Revenue Code 501(c)(3) and 501(c)(6).   He is happy to serve as the liaison between the organization and IRS through this sometimes confusing process.

If your organization is established, Ben can help you facilitate your annual meeting, produce reports on your activities, amend your corporate documents, negotiate and draft partnership agreements or joint ventures with other organizations, or assist in the development of your future.
